Learn More About Tracy Jones for Bandcamp Friday
It’s hard to believe it’s only been 2 weeks since Tracy Jones’ seminal LP, Humancloud Abandonment was re-issued by Uncommon Records. Tracy is also responsible for the first ever 7” released by Uncommon Restoration, an imprint of Uncommon Records. That 7” ships Monday for arrival on it’s release date, so today seems like a perfect day to grab this from Bandcamp if you haven’t already being that Bandcamp is waiving all fees charged to artists for digital and physical sales. We’ve already made a huge dent in the stock of 100 copies and it will be shipping literally around the entire planet, thanks to everyone that’s helped us with such a strong start.
If you’ve been under a rock, ignoring your emails from Uncommon Records, we want to catch you up on all of the content we’ve created to get you caught up with Tracy Jones and his release.
We got started with this great snippet video that gives you just a taste of what’s in store on the album. Uncommon Nasa also had a conversation with Tracy on the Uncommon Records Youtube Channel about the creation of Humancloud Abandonment, living in Japan and more. Tracy also posted on his blog a week after the re-issue dropped re-capping the ride. He shares his thoughts on it all and links to some pieces he’s written for The Huffington Post, Tokyo Weekender and Charlotte Observer which shed even more light on his journey to and from living in Japan.
